Frequently asked questions
My thumbnail is over 2MB. What should I do?
Run it through our Compress Image tool with a 1900KB target. It will easily pass YouTube's limit with no visible quality loss.
What's the difference between Crop to fill and Fit inside?
Crop to fill makes the image exactly the size you asked for, trimming the edges that don't fit. Fit inside keeps the whole image and scales it so neither side is bigger than your box, which means one side may come out smaller.
Will resizing make my photo blurry?
Making images smaller keeps them sharp. Making them much larger than the original can't add detail, so they can look soft.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Resizing runs in your browser and your files never leave your device.
